General FAQs
How do I know what I need?
You don’t need to figure this out alone — that’s what I’m here for. Book a free discovery call and we’ll explore the best path forward together.
What is EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)?
EFT is a gentle practice of tapping on acupressure points while focusing on what’s troubling you. It helps release emotional and physical tension stored in the body.
What is fascia release?
Fascia is connective tissue that can hold trauma and tension. Gentle fascia work helps ease both physical discomfort and emotional heaviness.
What is Reiki?
I use Jikiden Reiki — a traditional Japanese energy therapy that helps regulate the nervous system and support your body’s natural healing response.
What if I don’t connect with a technique?
Nothing is ever forced. We’ll adapt based on what feels right to you. Your comfort comes first.
What if I cry or feel overwhelmed during a session?
You’re completely safe. We go at your pace and honour whatever emotions arise. Tears are often a natural part of the process.
Can children benefit from this work?
Absolutely. Tap & Anchor is designed specifically for children ages 7–14 using a variety of approaches that encourage self-expression and growth.
Tap & Yin FAQs
What is Tap & Yin?
A monthly group class blending EFT, Yin-inspired stillness, meditation, and gentle fascia release — designed to calm your nervous system and release tension.
Do I need experience?
Not at all. Beginners are warmly welcomed — that’s often where the most meaningful shifts begin.
What happens during class?
We begin with gentle tapping and movement, then move into restorative stillness, breathwork, and a guided rest.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. Mats are available. You’re welcome to bring your own cushion or blanket for extra comfort.
Is this yoga?
We use Yin principles — slowness, stillness, and release — but this is not a traditional yoga class.
What if I cry or fall asleep?
Both are completely normal — and often a sign your body is doing exactly what it needs.
Will I feel awkward coming alone?
Many women come solo. You’ll find a warm, non-judgmental space — or feel free to bring a friend.
Is it drop-in?
Just book ahead for the ones you want to come to but there’s no long-term commitment.
Do I need to be in crisis to attend?
Not at all. If you’re feeling “off,” overwhelmed, or just want a reset — you’re in the right place.
Tap & Restore FAQs (Postpartum Recovery)
When can I start?
Anytime from 6 weeks postpartum onwards. . Even if it’s been several years since you gave birth, this can still support healing and strength if you’ve not had the chance before. GP clearance is recommended if you’ve had surgery.
Do I need to be “recovered”?
Not at all. This programme is designed for those still healing — physically, emotionally, and energetically.
What happens in a session?
We focus on core reconnection, breathwork, and alignment, starting with an ab separation check and adapting as needed.
What if I have pelvic floor issues or diastasis recti?
This is exactly what we work with. I’ll advise if a women’s health physio might be a better fit.
Can I bring my baby?
For online sessions, yes! For in-person, it depends on the venue — we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Will I need to talk about my birth?
Only if you want to. Sometimes, healing doesn’t require words.
Is this just yoga or Pilates?
We use Pilates-based movements and diaphragmatic breathing, personalised to your recovery.
Can I combine this with other care?
Absolutely. This complements physio, counselling, and more.

Tap & Anchor FAQs (For Parents)
What ages is this for?
Ages 7–14 work best, but reach out if your child falls slightly outside that range.
What is NLP?
Neuro-Linguistic Programming helps reframe thoughts and patterns so kids can grow in confidence and resilience.
What issues does this help with?
Anxiety, low confidence, emotional overwhelm, school stress, friendship struggles, and big life transitions.
What will my child actually be doing?
EFT (tapping), NLP tools, and mindset coaching tailored to your child’s age and comfort level.
Do I stay during the sessions?
Usually not — children often feel more free without a parent present. But if they need you there, that’s fine too.
Will they need to talk about difficult feelings?
Only if they want to. Healing can happen without needing to “explain” it all.
What if my child is shy or neurodivergent?
I’ve supported many children with different needs. The approach is gentle, flexible, and tailored to each child.
Will I get updates?
Yes — I offer optional 15-minute parent check-ins after each session to share progress and tools you can use at home.
Is this therapy?
Yes - EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) are recognised therapeutic approaches. My work is therapeutic but not clinical psychotherapy. I focus on providing children with safe, practical tools they can use to regulate emotions, shift unhelpful thinking patterns, and build resilience.
Can this be done online?
Absolutely — Zoom sessions work beautifully for many children.
What if my child doesn’t like tapping?
We adjust. I use a variety of tools to meet your child where they are.
