Tap & Restore FAQs

What happens in a session?

Sessions are body-led and focused on rebuilding strength, stability, and function. This may include:

  • Targeted strength and corrective exercise
  • Fascia-focused work to release tension and improve mobility
  • Core and postural support
  • Slower, restorative elements to all the body to settle.

The work is structured, but always adapted to your body and starting point.

Do I need to be fit or strong to start?
No.

Sessions are designed to meet you where you are, whether you’re rebuilding from a low baseline or looking to regain strength in a more considered way.

What if I have specific concerns or injuries?

These are taken into account as part of your programme.
Sessions are adapted to support your body safely, with a focus on gradual, sustainable progress rather than intensity.

Tap & Yin FAQs

What is Tap & Yin?

A monthly group class blending EFT, Yin-inspired stillness, meditation, and gentle fascia release — designed to calm your nervous system and release tension.

Do I need experience?

Not at all. Beginners are warmly welcomed — that’s often where the most meaningful shifts begin.

What happens during class?

We begin with gentle tapping and movement, then move into restorative stillness, breathwork, and a guided rest.

What should I bring?

Just yourself. Mats are available. You’re welcome to bring your own cushion or blanket for extra comfort.

Will I feel awkward coming alone?

Many women come solo. You’ll find a warm, non-judgmental space — or feel free to bring a friend.

Is it drop-in?

Just book ahead for the ones you want to come to but there’s no long-term commitment.

Tap & Anchor FAQs (Children’s Sessions)

Who is this for?
For children aged 7–14 who may be struggling with confidence, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or finding it hard to manage their feelings.
What happens in a session?
Sessions are calm, guided, and adapted to your child.
We use simple, practical techniques — including tapping — to help them understand and manage how they feel.
Will my child need to talk about everything?

No.

This work doesn’t rely on your child having to explain or revisit difficult experiences in detail.

What if my child is shy or finds it hard to open up?

That’s completely fine.

Sessions are paced around your child, and there’s no pressure to speak before they’re ready.

Do I stay during the sessions?
This depends on your child.

Some feel more comfortable with a parent nearby, others prefer space — we decide what works best together.

Will I get updates?
Yes.

There’s always a short check-in so you understand how your child is progressing and how to support them at home.

What if my child doesn’t respond to tapping?

We don’t rely on one approach.

Sessions are flexible and adapted to your child, using a range of simple techniques to support them.

Is this therapy?
This is a coaching-based approach focused on emotional regulation and practical tools, rather than traditional talk therapy.

Still Have Questions?

That’s completely normal. Let’s explore this together — no pressure, just support.
